About Us

Welcome to August Moon Stables! August Moon Stables LLC was established by Tina and Jeromy Thotland in 2006 after a very long wait, and even longer dreaming and planning. We began with our two half-Arabs: Kam, our first mare, and Shamois, our gelding.

We are a small, family-run stable located in the beautiful central Minnesota countryside just on the outskirts of Pine City. We are approximately one hour north of Minneapolis/St. Paul and one-and-a-half hours south of Duluth/Superior.

Our Vision

Our vision is to produce and promote beautiful, affordable Arabians and half-Arabians with substance and style, who have heart and patience and give their whole selves in everything they are asked to do. Our horses are physically versatile, sweet natured and exceptionally beautiful. They are a pleasure whether in the show ring or at home.
